Special Education

Philosophy

The special education department focuses on the pedagogical, psychological and motivational aspects of learning. To this end, we use engaging instructional methods and techniques in order to individualize instruction and meet IEP goals and objectives, ASGL goals and state standards. Our ultimate goal is for our students to be able to successfully move from special education to regular classes.
